Two weeks until Thanksgiving and no snow in sight. The mornings are crisp and there is a subtle layer of frost on the ground when you first wake up. Our anticipation for snow grows as deer hunting season will begin soon. It is rare that we have not had any snow in Northern Wisconsin at this time of the year. Fingers crossed that our days will soon be filled with white fluffy snowflakes!

Is it Spring yet??
We have been battling with Mother Nature over the arrival of Spring for the past month. In the last couple weeks of March our county has seen the worst winter and ice storms in the last few years. Even though, we are making the best of our situation. We keep the bird feeders full to help the little ones out.
